  • Consultant Laparoscopic surgery, General Surgery & bariatric surgery at Sunshine Hospitals, Bhubaneswar.
  • Consultant Laparoscopic surgery, General Surgery & bariatric surgery at AMRI Hospitals, Bhubaneswar.
  • Consultant at Neelachal Hospital and Sunflower Hospital, Bhubaneswar from 2005 and 2013.
  • Senior Resident in Swami Dayanand Hospital, Delhi.
  • Senior Resident in National Heart Institute, New Delhi.

Contribution To General Surgery & Laparoscopic Surgery :

  • Pioneer in doing Laparoscopic Hernia surgery in the state Of Orissa since 2006.
  • Pioneer in doing ‘Single Incision Laparoscopy Surgery’ in Orissa. Did the First SILS in October 2009 in Orissa.
  • Awarded ‘Fellow in minimal access surgery’, in AMASICON Mumbai 2009.
  • Awarded FIAGES in Ahmadabad 2012.
  • Did the First Laparoscopic Colorectal surgery in Orissa in June 2011.
  • Did the First Laparoscopic Stomach cancer surgery in Orissa in May 2012.
  • Conducted CME on ‘Laparoscopic Hernia surgery’ with Live Demonstration of various types of Hernia Surgery in Sambalpur, Orissa in January 2012 and in January 2016
  • Conducted batches of training in Laparoscopic hernia repair of six surgeons each (PACE) in the year 2014,2015,2016,2017,2018,2021.
  • Completed Fellowship in Advanced laparoscopic surgery in Bariatric surgery in 2018 and Colorectal surgery in 2019.

  • Chronic spinal haematoma mimicking pseudomeningocele. Published in Indian journal of Neurotrauma 2008; 5:127-128.
  • Traumatic spinal extradural haematoma following epidural anesthesia. Published in Indian journal of Neurotrauma 2009; 6: 95-97
